Over Crowded Trolley

23 Mar 1973, Hanoi, North Vietnam — Clang goes the trolley. Maybe there isn’t too much clanging but there’s a lot of clinging as a trolley moves through Hanoi recently. Youngsters who can’t get in, get on. The conductor, wearing a helmet, seems unusually pleasant in such a situation. UPI correspondents Tracey Wood and Marie Grebenc, who visited Hanoi recently, both noted the presence of many Merry looking children. The children are back in Hanoi now that the sease-fire is in effect. Before, many children had been evacuated from the city. — Image by © Bettmann/CORBIS
